Technology Specialist - Cannabis
Tech Specialists will provide Onsite Tech Support for their respective state. Delivering ground support for hardware and software in our Grow Processing and Retail locations.
- Manage Tier 1 support tickets responding in an efficient, professional, and timely manner.

Respond to issues via phone, email, and computer chat.

Clearly escalate issues to the next support tier, indicating steps taken.

Troubleshooting Tier 2 Seed to Sale system issues.

Hardware and software implementations, modifications, and repair.

Work with vendors to resolve equipment and system failures/problems.

Preparing reference material for users by drafting operation instructions.

Proactively verify network and security devices are functioning.

Providing onsite support for their state’s facilities to help prevent downtime or to bring devices back online for technology and security related devices.

Assist setting up new locations; workstations, network infrastructure, and security devices.

Maintain accurate list of tech and security inventory for their respective state’s facilities.

Part of a rotating weekend on call schedule.

Work closely with Managers to troubleshoot system and security issues.

About You:

- Regulations require that incumbent be at least 21 years of age and able to obtain and maintain medical marijuana work credentials
Education/Experience:
- Highschool Education or above preferred
- 2+ years of experience in providing tech support, implementing technology infrastructure, or security infrastruture.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
- Professional demeanor, strong work ethic
- Able to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

- Primarily an office/indoor environment with minimal exposure to weather. Typically, minimal noise levels.
- Occasional use of 12’ ladder and/or scissor lift.
- Working in company retail stores – indoor environment, quiet to moderate noise levels.
- Working in company grow & processing facilities – warehouse environment with artificial lighting and ventilation, and potential for mold exposure and allergic reaction or hypersensitivity to the marijuana plants. PPE may be recommended in certain parts of the warehouse.
