Position Summary
We are seeking energetic, dependable, and customer-focused Event Staff to assist with the successful execution of a variety of events. Event Staff play a key role in creating an exceptional guest experience by providing outstanding customer service, assisting with event setup and breakdown, supporting event operations, and ensuring guests have a safe and enjoyable experience. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working in fast-paced environments, thrive as part of a team, and take pride in delivering professional service.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with event setup, including tables, chairs, décor, signage, equipment, and supplies
- Welcome and direct guests throughout the event
- Provide exceptional customer service and respond professionally to guest questions
- Assist with registration, check-in, ticket scanning, or credential distribution
- Serve food and beverages as assigned (where permitted)
- Replenish supplies and maintain cleanliness of event spaces
- Monitor event areas to ensure safety and organization
- Assist vendors, exhibitors, performers, or event organizers as needed
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and professional appearance throughout the event
- Support event breakdown, including packing materials, cleaning work areas, and loading equipment
- Follow all event procedures, safety guidelines, and company policies
- Perform other event-related duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Previous event, hospitality, restaurant, retail, or customer service experience is preferred but not required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Friendly, professional, and positive attitude
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance
- Ability to adapt to changing event needs and priorities
- Must be comfortable working in indoor and outdoor environments
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds
- Ability to bend, reach, push, and pull equipment or supplies
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions for outdoor events
- Comfortable working evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with corporate events, weddings, festivals, sporting events, or promotional events
- Food Handler or alcohol service certification (if applicable)
- Experience with guest registration or event check-in systems
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus

- Part-time, temporary, seasonal, or event-based opportunities
