About the Role: Our Company is seeking a Front Desk Associate to assist our Front Desk Lead in running our front-of-house store operations. The Front Desk Associate will be responsible for upholding the customer experience throughout the customer and patient check-in process. The Front Desk Associate is likely the first person the customer will encounter upon entering the dispensary, and therefore must exhibit great customer service when greeting incoming guests, assisting them with their inquiries or concerns, and directing them to either the sales floor or patient consultation area. In addition, the Front Desk Associate will be responsible for handling a number of administrative tasks, including answering phone calls at the front desk, managing emails, registering patients and checking in customers in compliance with the cannabis state compliance and tracking systems. The ideal person for this role has experience in hospitality, retail, or other customer-facing positions. Success in this role will require both strong interpersonal communication abilities and organizational skills, presenting a warm and welcoming atmosphere for visitors to the dispensary while simultaneously handling administrative duties with diligence and accuracy. The Work You’ll Do:
- Greet and check-in customers and patients
- Answer phone calls and reliably provide excellent customer service over the phone
- Facilitate customer flow efficiently in and out of the front of house
- Monitor patient and customer accounts in the point of sale and cannabis tracking systems
- Assist medical patients in the process of registration and completion of necessary documentation
- Act as liaison between company and customers
- Ensure the front desk and reception area is kept clean and orderly
- Answer and address customer/patient inquiries and concerns as needed
- Execute intake forms
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Background in retail or hospitality is required
- Fluent in Spanish is a plus
- Cannabis market experience preferred but not required

Working Conditions/Physical Demands:
- Normal office/retail environment
- May be exposed to extreme temperatures
- Must be able to sit/stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs without assistance
- Frequent bending and moving from sitting to standing and reverse
