Senior Copy Writer
JOB TITLE: Senior Copywriter Job Summary As the Senior Copywriter, you will be responsible for conceptualizing and crafting compelling copy that embodies and evolves the tone and voice of our brand. Your primary focus will be on attracting new partners to sell on our marketplace and engaging our curated community of sellers with persuasive messaging that highlights benefits and features. This role involves close collaboration with leadership, product managers, graphic designers, business owners, and other cross-functional stakeholders to translate business objectives into effective marketing messages. You will also be tasked with writing copy for various strategic program components and aligning product enhancements with marketing objectives. Enjoy working on diverse projects? You're in luck! Responsibilities:
- Internalize the brand voice and effectively communicate it to different audiences.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to transform concepts into clear, engaging content.
- Maintain a high level of quality and take pride in your work.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in a creative copywriting role, either in-house or at an agency.
- A portfolio showcasing your writing projects.
- Versatility as a writer, with a curious mindset for research and understanding of various subjects, capable of producing copy for diverse channels, both short-form and long-form.
- Highly detail-oriented and collaborative creative thinker, passionate about communication, branding, and writing.
- Thrive in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment.
- Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with cross-functional team members.
- Proficient at managing multiple projects and adapting quickly.
- Experience in writing for ecommerce, B2B, or other marketplaces.
- Exceptional grammar, copywriting, and copy-editing skills.
- Comfortable creating content across various mediums.
- Experience collaborating with project stakeholders and designers.
- Familiarity with popular CRM platforms such as HubSpot or Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
