Client Strategy Manager
Job Description We are looking for a talented Client Strategy Manager to act as a key part of the commercial team and contribute to driving success through strategic implementation. You will play a crucial role in ensuring exceptional client satisfaction, maintaining strong relationships, and driving revenue growth through exemplary service delivery. This role requires a combination of leadership, strategic and analytical thinking, and a deep understanding of the gaming industry. The ideal candidate is someone with a passion for gaming, is analytical in nature, has an understanding of how data can inform commercial partnerships, and someone that has a drive to provide excellent customer service. This role reports to the Director of Client Services.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate on accounts
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their needs, and ensuring timely delivery of deliverables.
- Act as a point of contact for clients reporting needs, addressing inquiries, concerns, and requests for the partnerships team.
- Act as the primary point of account for certain partnerships, as assigned.
- Monitor and analyze key performance metrics related to the company's partnerships, identifying areas for improvement and suggesting corrective actions as necessary.
- Use and update project portfolio management tools, project dashboards, reporting, and analytics to ensure predictable project success and outcomes.
- Work closely with the partnerships team to aid business intelligence by utilizing in-house data tools to help create compelling narratives on client opportunity and partnership suitability.
- Use creative and strategic skills to develop sales materials (decks/proposals) to help the sales and outreach process.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and potential threats.
- Participate in business development activities, including client presentations, negotiations, and contract renewals.
- Support other leadership initiatives and special projects to help drive growth goals.
- Proactively identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell additional services to existing clients.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in partnership pre or post-sales or business development roles.
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
- Previous experience in client services or account management roles within the gaming industry is highly preferred.
- Highly organized, personable, detail-oriented, and has excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Self-motivated and takes the initiative.
- Experience with Google Suite, including Slides, Docs, and Sheets.
- Strong familiarity with project management software tools and methodologies (Agile).
