Operations Manager
About the Role: We’re looking for an energetic and motivated Operations Manager to lead the daily operations at Our Company. In this key role, you'll oversee team development, operational excellence, and client satisfaction. What You’ll Be Doing: Operations:
- Build and fine-tune processes that keep our operations running smoothly and efficiently.
- Make welcome and confirmation calls to our clients to set the tone for a great experience.
- Quickly and professionally manage and resolve any damage claims.
- Manage crew scheduling and staffing to meet daily performance goals.
- Track daily performance metrics and make sure all procedures stay on point.
- Oversee truck and equipment check-in/out and handle shop closing routines.
- Order and manage marketing supplies as needed.
- Ensure all operations comply with safety and legal standards.
- Foster a culture that values accountability, punctuality, and operational excellence.
People:
- Recruit, hire, train, and grow a high-performing team.
- Coach team members in sales, customer service, safety, and leadership skills.
- Lead by example and create a culture that reflects our mission and core values.
- Mentor future leaders within the team.
- Promote a positive, respectful, and supportive work environment.
Marketing & Partnerships:
- Build partnerships with complementary local businesses.
- Attend networking and professional events to boost visibility (e.g., NAPO, NASMM).
- Coach the sales team and guide marketing efforts to drive growth.
- Support community engagement and local marketing campaigns.
Finance & Strategy:
- Manage operations to meet budget goals and financial targets.
- Review monthly P&L reports and share insights with leadership.
- Identify ways to improve operations based on financial and performance data.
- Monitor KPIs and adjust strategies as needed for continued success.
- Build scalable systems and tools to support long-term growth.
What You’ll Need:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or equivalent hands-on experience.
- 3+ years of experience managing service-based operations (moving, logistics, home services, etc.).
- A strong background in Sales, Marketing, and Operations is a big plus!
- Great communication skills — confident, proactive, and positive.
- Strong leadership and decision-making abilities, even in fast-paced environments.
- A serious focus on safety and liability awareness.
- Ability to build trust and inspire teams at every level.
- Organized, results-driven, and able to work independently.
