The Role
The Human Resources Generalist reports to the Senior HR Business Partner and is accountable for overseeing a wide variety of HR-related functions that support our People Team in providing a best-in-class HR experience. The HR Generalist must be proactive in a way that prioritizes efficiency, risk management, engagement, continuous improvement, and talent development. The ideal candidate is self-sufficient, process-oriented and a pro at consistently executing on recurrent and detail-oriented administrative tasks.
The HR Generalist will play a crucial role in supporting and championing the entire People Team infrastructure from the ground up, and this position will provide the right candidate with an expanding set of responsibilities in a high-growth and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Support employees through the whole life-cycle, including but not limited to onboarding, offboarding, data and systems, programs and employee experience.
- Track, maintain and regularly audit employee data across all HR systems and workflows to maintain accuracy and integrity of personnel records.
- Respond to high-volume inbound employee inquiries via HR email and company slack with a sense of urgency and superb communications that reinforce policy yet exemplify a culture of empathy.
- Assist HR Business Partners with on-site employee relations as related to training programs, employee engagement, benefit and leave administration (LOA, FMLA, ADA and worker's comp), talent management, onboarding/offboarding and the execution of human resources policies and procedures.
- Act as a resource and first point of contact for employees and managers on general HR inquiries as related to time and attendance, benefits and other HR policies or procedures in accordance with the company handbook and state/federal regulations.
- Oversee OSHA reporting and be a regular contributor to the safety committee.
- Identify areas for process improvement within People Operations that enhance overall efficiency, team KPIs and organizational goals through executing on team projects and initiatives as assigned.
- Foster culture in coordination with the entire People Team to drive a collaborative environment and inclusive employee experience.
- Responsible for various office management duties pertaining to supply/asset procurement and replenishment, coordinating team social events and general upkeep of the warehouses.
Requirements: - 1-2 years of applicable HR experience with relevant knowledge of federal and state labor laws and regulations
- Computer proficient, with experience in Google Suites and Microsoft Office applications
- Superior written and verbal communication skills that demonstrate a high level of professionalism
- Must be at least 21 years of age
